Level II sliders include full rocker Rub Rails and rocker wrap tube.
Every set uses 3/8" steel plate flanges, gusseted support tubes, 2" x 2" 3/16" wall square tube rub rails and 1.75" .120 wall DOM tubing.
P&P Engineering sliders for the second gen Xterra use a unique mounting system consisting of a thick wall high strength steel alloy sleeve around grade 8 hardware through existing holes in the vehicle frame. These sliders require no modification of the vehicle. All our rock sliders bolt on, using the OEM holes in the frame rails. They do not require any welding or drilling.
The sliders will come in unfinished steel. We recommend a finish of spray on bedliner prior to installation. If we powdercoated these you would rub it off and have to paint over it down the line anyway. We pass the savings on to you. We do have finishing options available at an additional cost if you would like them to arrived finished and ready to bolt on. Bedliner or powder coating is available.
